7 of 7 Benchmarks Must be Achieved
During his daily briefing today, Governor Cuomo announced that NY on PAUSE is extended to May 28 for regions that have not achieved 7 of 7 benchmarks by today’s scheduled end of the Executive Order today. However, if benchmarks are achieved before May 28, phased reopening may begin in Western New York, the Capital Region, the Mid-Hudson Valley, New York City and Long Island. Statewide, certain low-risk business and recreational activities – including landscaping, gardening, tennis & drive-in-movie theaters – will reopen today.
The Governor also offered more specifics on the phased reopening of businesses including the designation of hair salons and barber shops as Phase 2 businesses.
