Recent announcements during Governor Cuomo’s daily press briefings have focused on reopening, with Tuesday’s announcing that The Capital Region met all seven criteria to begin reopening.

Following a joint hearing on Monday to explore solutions to the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on minority communities, the Senate announced plans to reconvene (virtually) next week. Reports suggest both houses are working to reach agreement on a dozen COVID-related pieces of legislation. We have been tracking more than 70 COVID-related bills introduced in both houses.
