Governor Cuomo issued an executive order extending his emergency powers to increase the number of medical professionals qualified to help respond to the COVID-19 outbreak in NYS, expand care options for patients, prevent transportation and attendance at adult day care, allow deviation from care plans for people with disabilities as needed to keep the individual safe, increase availability of child care, waive waiting periods for unemployment insurance, and facilitating distanced interaction with official bodies.
