Tracy Connolly

Tracy comes to the firm from the NYS Building & Construction Trades Council where she transformed and expanded her role in multiple directions over a span 25 years. By serving as an advisor to the Council’s President and a liaison between the Council’s executive officers and 135 local unions, Tracy was uniquely situated to identify and offer solutions to potential policy concerns related to the organization’s internal affairs and its relationship with government.

During her time with the Building Trades, Tracy witnessed and participated in the evolution of the Labor Law, making her well-versed in the areas of prevailing wage, apprenticeship, project labor agreements, Wicks, design-build contracting, and Labor Law 240/241. She has reviewed and participated in negotiations on numerous public and private PLAs including the Global Foundries’ $4.3 billion project, the $3.9 billion Tappan Zee Bridge replacement project, and the Crown Point Bridge replacement project. Tracy will be a strong advocate for our clients and a valuable resource to those who have pending legislative and regulatory matters.

Tracy earned a certificate in Labor Relations from Cornell’s ILR School, an A.A.S. in Labor Relations from Hudson Valley Community College, a B.A. in English from the State University of New York at Albany, and her J.D., summa cum laude, from Albany Law School.
